The Veteran Graduate Student Association (VGSA) is a single organization for all UConn graduate students who are veterans, service members, military family members, and our supporters with the common goal of aiding one another in achieving success in transition, education, and in times of need. We celebrate our shared military and veteran culture as we engage in service and social/cultural events and we weigh in on policies that affect veterans as necessary. The VGSA encourages and mentors undergraduate student veterans at the various campuses. The VGSA receives senate representation in Graduate Student Senate. The VGSA excepts leadership and membership of graduate students from all UConn Campuses and is a democratic organization. The Director of Veterans Affairs and Military Programs at UConn serves as our advisor.
